Extracurricular Programs
Our extracurricular offerings cater to diverse interests, including athletic programs that promote teamwork and various after-school clubs that inspire creativity. Extended care until 6 PM ensures children are supervised while exploring their passions. Programs are designed to inspire and enrich the after-school experience for budding athletes, artists, and scientists.
Before & After Care
Our Helping Hands Child Care Program is open to all students enrolled at St. John the Baptist Catholic School. It offers a secure environment where students can complete their homework, study, enjoy various toys and games, and socialize with their peers. This program operates on all school days from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM and from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Please note that Helping Hands will close in conjunction with the school on all early dismissal days.

Athletics
St. John The Baptist provides a strong athletics program via the Catholic Youth Organization of Indiana (CYO), offering students in grades 4-8 the chance to engage in a range of sports such as soccer, cross country, volleyball, and basketball. These programs aim to encourage physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship, all while nurturing a spirit of camaraderie among the students.
Big Shoulders Fund Programs
As a proud member of the Big Shoulders Fund school network, we actively collaborate with this esteemed organization to provide a variety of enriching extracurricular activities that enhance our students' educational experiences. Among the exciting opportunities we offer are the Stock Market Program, where students learn valuable financial literacy skills by engaging with real-world concepts of trading and investment, and the Staddle Camp held at the beautiful Brush Creek Ranch, which combines outdoor adventure with personal development.
